§ 220-A — Water quality management agency

§ 220-a. Water quality management agency. The board of supervisors or\ncounty legislature, shall have the power to designate a water quality\nmanagement agency for the purposes of water quality management program\noversight. Such agency may, in the discretion of the board of\nsupervisors or county legislature, be an existing county official,\ncounty agency, a group of agencies or officials or other county entity,\nor may be a newly created agency. Such a water quality management agency\nshall be responsible for providing oversight of all water quality\nprograms and related activities in the county.
