§ 206-a. Business in county offices on holidays and Saturdays. 1.\nNotwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law, holidays\nand Saturdays shall be considered as Sunday for all purposes relating to\nthe transaction of business in county offices in every county of the\nstate, except in a county wholly contained within a city. On all other\ndays, except Sundays, such offices shall be kept open for the\ntransaction of business. For the purposes of this section, the term\n"county offices" shall mean all offices, the officers or employees of\nwhich are paid in whole or in part from county funds.\n 2.
