§ 908. Pleadings; verification. Verification of pleadings shall be\ngoverned by the CPLR, except that if a pleading be not formal it need\nnot be verified. The court in such instance may require a formal\npleading as provided in subdivision (e) of § 902 and order its\nverification.\n
