§ 702. Execution of mandates by marshals. The authority of a marshal\nshall extend throughout the city of New York. But where a transcript of\na money judgment has been filed with the county clerk, an execution\nshall thereafter issue only to a sheriff, as if the judgment on which\nexecution is sought were rendered by the supreme court.\n
