  § 9001. Definitions. In this article, unless the context otherwise\nrequires:\n  1. "Corporation" means and includes all mutual savings banks, mutual\nsavings and loan associations, mutual holding companies and credit\nunions.\n  2. "Director" means any member of the governing board of a\ncorporation, whether designated as director, trustee, manager, governor\nor by any other title; the term "board" means "board of directors. "\n  3. "Organization certificate" includes (a) the original organization\ncertificate or any other instrument filed or issued under any statute to\nform a corporation or foreign corporation, as amended, supplemented or\nrestated by certificates of amendment, merger or consolidation or other\ncertificates or instruments filed or issued under any statute; or (b) a\ns

§ 9001. Definitions. In this article, unless the context otherwise\nrequires:\n 1. "Foreign corporation" means a non-stock corporation which is\nlicensed by the superintendent under the provisions of article two of\nthis chapter to do business in this state or is applying for such\nlicense and a non-stock corporation authorized to conduct business in\nthis state pursuant to article five-C of this chapter or is applying for\nsuch authorization.\n
