§ 75-a. Legislative intent. The legislature hereby finds that\nautomated teller machines are an integral part of consumers' lives and\nthat automated teller machines are used by millions of New Yorkers,\nstatewide, on a daily basis. It is the legislature's intent to ensure\nthe convenience and safety of automated teller machine use by\nestablishing security measures for automated teller machine facilities.\n
