* § 749. Severability. If any provision of this article or the\napplication thereof to any person or circumstances is held to be\ninvalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or\napplications of this article which can be given effect without the\ninvalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions of this\narticle are severable.\n * NB Effective upon the one hundred eightieth day after the\npromulgation of rules and/or regulations by the department of financial\nservices to effectuate certain provisions (see Ch. 58 of 2025, Part Y, §\n13)\n
