* § 500-i. Severability. If any provision of this article or the\napplication thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such\ninvalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the\narticle which can be given effect without the invalid provision or\napplication, and to this end the provisions of this article are declared\nto be severable.\n * NB Effective February 16, 2026\n
