§ 148-b. Livestock/forage pest management. Within the integrated pest\nmanagement program there shall be established a livestock/forage pest\nmanagement program. Such program shall be conducted in such a manner to\nachieve the following objectives:\n 1. develop systematic insect, disease and weed pest management\nstrategies for use on New York livestock and cash grain farms which\nintegrate management tactics into environmentally compatible and\neconomically sound systems to be used by producers, extension personnel\nand private enterprise;\n 2. obtain information regarding crop, animal and stored grain pest\noccurrence and severity, pesticide usage, other pest management\nstrategies used, effective pest monitoring techniques and scouting\nintervals, and the effectiveness of the produc
