§ 55.23. Actions against the trust. Except in an action for wrongful\ndeath, an action against the trust founded on tort shall not be\ncommenced more than one year and ninety days after the cause of action\ntherefor shall have accrued, nor unless a notice of claim shall have\nbeen served on the trust within the time limited by, and in compliance\nwith all the requirements of section fifty-e of the general municipal\nlaw. An action against the trust for wrongful death shall be commenced\nin accordance with the notice of claim and time limitation provisions of\ntitle eleven of article nine of the public authorities law.\n
