§ 128-b. Police officers allowed to serve as an officer of a volunteer\nfirefighters' organization. Notwithstanding any inconsistent provision\nof law to the contrary, a volunteer firefighters' organization shall not\nbe precluded from applying for an on-premises license or permit under\nthe provisions of this chapter due to the presence of a police officer\nserving as an officer of such organization and the state liquor\nauthority shall be authorized to issue such license or permit.\n
