§ 1302. Application to existing authorized foreign corporations.\n Every foreign corporation which on the effective date of this chapter\nis authorized to do business in this state under a certificate of\nauthority heretofore issued to it by the secretary of state shall\ncontinue to have such authority. Such foreign corporation, its\nshareholders, directors and officers shall have the same rights,\nfranchises and privileges and shall be subject to the same limitations,\nrestrictions, liabilities and penalties as a foreign corporation\nauthorized under this chapter, its shareholders, directors and officers\nrespectively. Reference in this chapter to an application for authority\nshall, unless the context otherwise requires, include the statement and\ndesignation and any amendment thereof r
