§ 1208. Amendment of proceedings. On application of the\nattorney-general the court shall:\n (a) order the proceeding with respect to items, or portions thereof,\nas to which claimants appear, to be severed into one or more separate\nproceedings, and allow all such proceedings to proceed separately;\n (b) amend the proceeding or proceedings, as the case may be, by adding\nto the title thereof the true names of the claiming respondents;\n (c) amend the proceedings from time to time in any just and equitable\nmanner.\n
