Text
“Bail” means a deposit made with a court or other governmental agency to secure or continue the release from custody and to guarantee the appearance of the defendant in a criminal proceeding. The term includes bail bonds, undertakings of bail and any pledge or deposit of the matters described in NRS 697.320.
