Text
The Commissioner shall conduct a public hearing not later than 120 days after the date on which the application is filed unless, for good cause, the Commissioner extends this time. Any interested person may appear or otherwise be heard at the public hearing. The Commissioner may continue the hearing for a reasonable period, not to exceed 60 days. The converting mutual shall give such reasonable notice of the hearing as the Commissioner requires. The hearing must be conducted pursuant to NRS 679B.320 to 679B.370, inclusive.
