Text

1. A licensed veterinarian may:

(a)Administer to an animal a product containing hemp or CBD if the product:
(1)Has a THC concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis; and
(2)Is intended for use or consumption through means other than inhalation to treat a condition of the animal; and
(b)Recommend to the owner of an animal the use of such a product to treat a condition of the animal. 2. The Board shall not take any disciplinary action against a licensed veterinarian or the facility in which the licensed veterinarian engages in the practice of veterinary medicine solely for administering or recommending the use of products pursuant to subsection 1. 3. As used in this section:
(a)“Administer” has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 453.021 .
