Text

1.A person engaged in any business or profession for which a license is required pursuant to this chapter may not bring or maintain an action in any court of this State, or be awarded judgment, for the collection of compensation for the performance of any act or contract for which such a license is required without alleging and proving that the person was licensed at all times during the performance of the act or contract.
2.Proof of licensure pursuant to this section must be made by production of a verified certificate of licensure from the Board which establishes that the person bringing the action was licensed as required by subsection 1.
