Text

1. The Board may adopt regulations for the issuance of temporary certificates to persons not licensed pursuant to this chapter. A temporary certificate may be issued:

(a)In connection with a bona fide educational seminar concerning Oriental medicine or acupuncture; or
(b)For the purpose of authorizing a person to engage in lecturing on or teaching Oriental medicine or acupuncture in this State on a short-term basis. 2. The Board may charge a fee for the issuance of a temporary certificate. The fee must not exceed an amount which adequately reimburses the Board for costs incurred in:
(a)Investigating an applicant under this section; and
(b)Monitoring a seminar, if the Board deems that action necessary.
