Text

1. Each applicant for a license to practice as a doctor of Oriental medicine must pass:

(a)Each examination required and administered by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine or its successor organization for certification in Oriental medicine; and
(b)An examination approved by the Board that tests the applicant’s knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations of this State relating to health and safety in the practice of Oriental medicine. 2. The Board may establish by regulation for the examination required by paragraph (b) of subsection 1:
(a)Additional subject areas to be included in the examination; and
(b)Specific methods for the administration of the examination, including, but not limited to, written, oral, demonstrative, practical
