As used in NRS 597.720 to 597.760, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. “Artist” means a person who creates a work of art. 2. “Reproduction” means a copy, in any medium, of a work of art, that is represented as the work of art as created by the artist. 3. “Work of art” means any original creation of visual or graphic art in any medium including painting, drawing, photographic print or sculpture of a limited edition of not more than 300 copies. The term does not include:

(a)Sequential imagery such as that in motion pictures.

(b)Work prepared under contract for commercial use by the purchaser.

(c)Work prepared by the employee of a publisher during the course of his or her employment.

(d)Work submitted for publication at no charge.
