Text

1.Any portable generator of electricity capable of being connected temporarily to an electrical system that is normally furnished electricity by a public utility may be connected only after the main switch of the system has been opened to isolate that electrical system from the public utility’s system for distribution of electricity.
2.Any generator of electricity capable of being permanently connected to an electrical system, except for a generator of electricity designed to run in parallel with a public utility’s system for distribution of electricity, must be connected by means of a double-throw switch that isolates that electrical system from the public utility’s system.
