The members of the Youth Legislature serve without compensation. To the extent that money is available in the Account, the members of the Youth Legislature may receive the per diem allowance and travel expenses provided for state officers and employees generally for attending a meeting of the Youth Legislature or a seminar conducted by the Youth Legislature.
