§ 9-8-11 — Advisory committees

A. The governor shall appoint advisory committees to the authority's income support division and may appoint other advisory committees as needed. Creation of the advisory committees shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Executive Reorganization Act [9-1-1 to 9-1-10 NMSA 1978]. If the existence of a committee, representational membership requirements or other matters are required or specified under any federal law, regulation or order as a condition of receiving federal funding for a particular program administered by the authority, the governor shall comply with those requirements in the creation of the advisory committee. B. All members of the advisory committees appointed under the authority of this section are entitled to receive as their sole remuneration for service as a member those amounts authorized under the Per Diem and Mileage Act [10-8-1 to 10-8-8 NMSA 1978].
