New Mexico Statutes
§ 9-6-4 — Department of finance and administration; secretary;
appointment; qualifications. The administrative and executive head of the department of finance and administration is the "secretary of finance and administration," who shall be a member of the executive cabinet. The secretary shall be appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. The secretary shall be well versed in governmental finance.
