In addition to the secretary's responsibility for the overall supervision of the department's operation in support of the purposes of the Tourism Department Act, the secretary shall: A. work with and provide staff support to the commission in formulating and implementing the state's five-year tourism plan; B. advise the commission of proposed rules, regulations, projects and contractual arrangements; C. enter into contracts with state, federal or private entities, apply for and accept any state, federal or private funds or grants for such projects and accept similar donations and bequests from any source; D. maintain and update records on the status of all completed and ongoing projects of the department; and E. perform such other duties as requested by the commission in order to further t
