§ 73-8-15 — [Directors' offices; conduct of elections after organization.]
The offices of the board of directors shall be located in the county where the organization is effected. Fifteen days prior to any election held under the provisions of this act [73-8-1 to 73- 8-60 NMSA 1978], subsequent to the organization of the district the secretary of such district shall cause to be posted in three public places in each precinct notices setting forth the time and place of holding the election and shall also post a general notice of the same in the office of the board. Prior to the time for the posting of such notices the board shall name from the qualified electors of each precinct three judges, one of whom shall act as clerk, who shall constitute a board of election for each such precinct.
