Text

A. Revenue bonds or refunding revenue bonds issued as authorized in the Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority Act are:

(1)not general obligations of the state or other political subdivision of the state; and (2) collectible only from the pledged net revenues of the water system, and each bond shall state that it is payable solely from the pledged net revenues of the water system and that the bondholders shall not look to any other fund of the state or political subdivision of the state for the payment of the interest and principal of the bond. B. The bonds shall be executed by the chairperson of the board and may be authenticated by the secretary of the board or any public or private transfer agent or registrar or its successor that shall be named or otherwise designated by the board
