directors.] In the case of the inclusion of any land within any district by proceedings under this act, the board of directors shall, at least thirty days prior to the next succeeding general election, make an order redividing such district into divisions, as nearly equal in size as may be practicable, being in number as in Section 5 [73-10-5 NMSA 1978] of this act provided and which shall be numbered consecutively, and one director shall thereafter be elected from each division. For the purposes of election the board of directors shall establish a convenient number of election precincts in said district, and define the boundaries thereof, which said precincts may be changed from time to time as the board may deem necessary.
