§ 73-10-10 — [Election of officers; oath; bonds of directors.]
The regular election of said district shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in December in each second calendar year thereafter, at which said officers shall be elected. The person receiving the highest number of votes for any office to be filled at such election is elected thereto. Within ten days after receiving their certificates of election, hereinafter provided for, said officers shall take and subscribe the official oath and file the same in the office of the county clerk of the county where the organization was effected, and thereupon immediately assume the duties of their respective offices. Each member of said board of directors shall execute an official bond in the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000), which bond shall be approved by the chairman of the boar
