New Mexico Statutes
§ 72-14-7 — [Governor authorized to protect water rights in interstate
streams.] That the governor of the state of New Mexico is hereby authorized to take such steps, make such investigations and institute or cause to be instituted in the name of the state, such proceedings as in his judgment may be necessary for the protection of the rights to the waters of any and all the interstate streams of the state.
