§ 7-38-15 — Information on real property sold, purchased, contracted to

be sold or purchased, or exchanged by governmental bodies to be sent to or obtained by the department; department to compile and send information to county assessors. A. By the twentieth day of each month, the department shall obtain from appropriate agencies of the United States the following information relating to real property transactions occurring during the preceding month:

(1)a list by legal description of each parcel of real property in the state that was sold, purchased, contracted to be sold or purchased, or exchanged by agencies of the United States government; and (2) the names and addresses of each of the transferors and transferees of the property required to be listed under Paragraph (1) of this subsection.
