Text
A. All applicants for licensure shall:
(1)provide fingerprints to the department of public safety to permit a national criminal background check and to conduct a state background check; and (2) have the right to inspect records if the applicant's licensure is denied. B. Records obtained by the board pursuant to the provisions of this section shall not be disclosed except as provided by law. The board is authorized to use criminal history records obtained from the federal bureau of investigation and the department of public safety to conduct background checks on applicants for certification as provided for in the Home Inspector Licensing Act. C. Records obtained by the board pursuant to the provisions of this section shall not be used for any purpose other than for licensing purposes pursu
