§ 4-5-1 — [County boundaries.]

New Mexico·Ch. 4 Counties·Art. 5 Curry County
That there be and is hereby created a county, to be known [as] and called Curry county, out of that portion of the territory of New Mexico, included in the following boundaries as indicated by the United States survey, to wit: commencing on the Texas- New Mexico boundary line at the point of its intersection with the east and west center line of township one north, projected thence west along said east and west center line of township one north, to the point of its intersection with the range line between ranges thirty and thirty-one east, thence north along the range line between thirty and thirty-one east to the northwest corner of township five north of range thirty-one east, thence east along the north line of township five north to the point of its intersection with the range line bet
