That the county of Los Alamos is hereby created out of those portions of Sandoval and Santa Fe counties lying and situate within the following boundaries, to wit: beginning at NE corner of the SE 1/4 of section 13, township 20 north, range 6 east of the New Mexico principal meridian, which point is on the county line between Sandoval county and Santa Fe county, state of New Mexico; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of the S 1/2 of said section 13 to the northwest corner of the SW 1/4 of said section 13; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern boundary of section 14 to the northeast corner thereof; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundaries of sections 14 and 15 to the northeast corner of section 16; thence in a southerly direction along
