Text
A. There is created the "governor's organized crime prevention commission". The commission shall consist of seven members appointed by the governor with the advice and the consent of the senate. No more than four members shall belong to the same political party and at least one member shall be a member of the New Mexico bar. B. Persons appointed to the commission shall:
(1)be of unquestioned integrity and of high standing and influence within the state by virtue of their demonstrated capacity for leadership;
(2)be selected from the various parts of the state in such manner as to provide broad geographical representation on the commission; and (3) be given a security clearance by an appropriate agency designated by the governor to conduct a clearance investigation. C. Members of the commi
