Text
The director may be removed by the secretary in accordance with the procedures provided in Section 29-2-11 NMSA 1978 for removal of members of the New Mexico state police holding permanent commissions. In the case of removal proceedings for the director under that section, "commission", as used in Subsections C and D of Section 29-2-11 NMSA 1978, shall be construed to mean the New Mexico law enforcement standards and training council.
