Text

A law enforcement agency may disseminate arrest record information to a federal, state or local government law enforcement agency, provided that when the arrest record information is disseminated to a law enforcement agency situated outside this state, the information shall be accompanied by a statement substantially embodying the intent set forth in Section 29-10-4 NMSA 1978. Nothing in the Arrest Record Information Act prohibits direct access by the attorney general, the district attorney, the crime victims reparation commission or the courts to such information where it is deemed necessary in the performance of their functions under law.
