Text
and duties. A. The administrator, upon the recommendation of the New Mexico medical society, shall appoint a patient qualification review board to serve at his pleasure. The patient qualification review board shall be comprised of:
(1)a physician licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico and certified by the American board of ophthalmology;
(2)a physician licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico and certified by the American board of internal medicine and also certified in the subspecialty of medical oncology; and (3) a physician licensed to practice medicine in New Mexico and certified in psychiatry by the American board of psychiatry and neurology. Members of the board may be reimbursed for their attendance at meetings at the rate of forty dollars ($40.00) per day. B. The patient
