Text
The function of the building materials research and testing institute is: A. to make technical investigations and determinations concerning the physical and chemical properties of all materials used in the construction of, or in connection with the construction of, buildings and dwellings; B. to supply technical and engineering data which will tend to increase the economy, efficiency and safety of the manufacture and use of construction materials in this state; and C. to establish and recommend standards for the physical and chemical properties of the materials and for the manufacture and use of these construction materials.
