disposition of rentals and royalties. The commissioner of public lands has the right to lease for oil and gas and other minerals any lands acquired by the state for state park or state recreational purposes when authorized so to do by the state park and recreation director, the same to be leased upon such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the state park and recreation director. All bonuses, rentals and royalties which may be collected under the terms of any such lease by the commissioner of public lands shall be placed to the credit of the state park and recreation fund.
