Text
A.For all areas closed to vehicles pursuant to Section 17-6-3 NMSA 1978, the commission shall cause notices of the restrictions, prohibitions or permitted uses of such areas to be posted prior to their effective date on the main traveled roads entering such areas and at such other locations as the commission deems appropriate.
B.In addition to the public meetings required by Section 17-6-3 NMSA 1978 and posted notices required by Subsection A of this section, the commission shall publish a notice of such restrictions, prohibitions or permitted uses, together with a description of the area, in a newspaper of general circulation in the area of the state affected, for three consecutive weeks prior to the effective date of such restrictions, prohibitions or permitted uses.
