§ 17-3-30 — [Sending game animals, birds and fish to officers of other

states.] The state warden [director of the department of game and fish] may, upon application from the game and fish warden or corresponding officer of any other state, procure and transmit to such officer alive specimens of the game animals, birds and fish of this state to be used for scientific or propagating purposes.
