Civil process in any civil action arising out of a collision or accident in which any aircraft of a nonresident owner, not registered or licensed under the laws of this State, notwithstanding that such aircraft may be validly licensed and registered under the provisions of the laws, rules and regulations of the United States Government, may be served upon such nonresident owner, by service upon any operator, owner or pilot, of such or any other aircraft of such nonresident owner, while such aircraft is being operated in this State by such operator, owner or pilot. Process in any such action may be also lawfully served upon any such nonresident owner by service thereof upon any person, over the age of fourteen years, who has the custody of such aircraft, whether held by him as security or o
