§ 58:10B-22 — Investigation, mapping of historic fill areas.

a.Within 270 days of the effective date of P.L.2003, c.224, the Department of Environmental Protection shall investigate and map those areas of the State at which large areas of historic fill exist. The department shall prioritize its investigations of historic fill areas giving highest priority to those areas of the State that are known or suspected to contain historic fill. This information shall be updated periodically as necessary. The information derived from the investigation shall be made available to the public by entering it into the Department of Environmental Protection's existing geographic information system, by making this information available on the system, and by making copies of any maps and data available to the public.
