§ 52:31-1 — 1a Advertisement for bids for contracting with State entity for display of advertisement.

New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
11.Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law to the contrary, a State entity, as defined in section 1 of P.L.2004, c.42 (C.27:5-27), shall not enter into any contract or agreement for the sale, lease or license of real property owned or controlled by it, or of any interest therein, with any person, firm, partnership or corporation for the purpose of displaying any advertisement, as defined in section 3 of P.L.1991, c.413 (C.27:5-7), without publicly advertising for bids. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any State entity may enter into such a contract or agreement with any of its current contractors, tenants or licensees with respect to the current real property on which they are a contractor, tenant or licensee for the purpose of displaying advertisement, for a period of time not to e
