§ 52:27EE-27 — Corrections Ombudsperson; jurisdiction.
New Jersey·Title 52 STATE GOVERNMENT, DEPARTMENTS AND OFFICERS
27.Corrections Ombudsperson; jurisdiction. Any person, over the age of 18 years, who is convicted of a crime under the laws of the State of New Jersey and sentenced to a correctional facility for more than 364 days is a "State-sentenced" inmate and considered to be among the individuals who may properly seek redress from the Corrections Ombudsperson concerning the conditions of their confinement.
