Text
No temporary State commission having more than two members shall have the power to take testimony at a public or private hearing unless at least two of its members are present at such hearing. Nothing in this section, however, shall be deemed to prevent the State Commission of Investigation from conducting private hearings, on an investigation previously undertaken by a majority of the members of the commission, with one commissioner present, when so designated by resolution pursuant to the provisions of section 12 of P.L.1968, c. 266 (C. 52:9M-12).
