Text

Every person summoned to attend the Senate as a witness shall receive, from the party in whose behalf he is summoned, one dollar ($1.00) for each day's attendance and mileage at the rate of six cents ($0.06) for each mile required to be traveled in going from and returning to his residence by the most usual route of travel between Trenton and the place of residence. No witness shall be required to attend upon the Senate until one day's fee and mileage for one way is paid or tendered. L.1951, First Sp.Sess., c. 353, p. 1467, s. 3.
