§ 51:8-19 — Disposition of penalties

New Jersey·Title 51 STANDARDS, WEIGHTS, MEASURES AND CONTAINERS
All fines and penalties collected from persons offending against the provisions of this chapter shall be paid by the magistrate or court clerk receiving the same, when recovered by a State weights and measures officer, to the State Treasurer; when recovered by a county weights and measures officer, to the county treasurer of such county; and when recovered by a municipal weights and measures officer, to the municipality which such officer represents. Amended by L.1953, c. 48, p. 847, s. 22.
