50:2-2. The licenses required for the various categories of harvesting, collecting, or culture of shellfish shall be as follows: a. Recreational shellfish license. No resident's recreational shellfish license shall be granted to any applicant who does not present satisfactory evidence that the person is legally domiciled in this State and pay the license fee required pursuant to R.S.50:2-3. A nonresident's recreational shellfish license shall be effective only in the months of June, July, August, and September in any calendar year and shall not be granted to a nonresident of this State without the payment of the license fee required pursuant to R.S.50:2-3. No holder of any recreational shellfish license may take more than 150 shellfish per day or shall sell or offer for sale shellfish take
